Visualizing your yourself in a new home can be challenging. You want it to "feel" like what home means to you, and to function in a way which will enhance your desired lifestyle. But where do you start? Do you have furniture you want to keep from a previous home? Will it fit, or do you need new furniture? Are their special paintings, antiques, family pieces, or things you have accumulated through life and travel that you want to keep around you - things will make your new home "feel" like home to you? Where do you start to make this home truly your own?

This is where we can help. When we begin a project we consider many things: your personality and style, your personal taste in colors, the over all "feel" you want  the room to have, the architectural style of your home, how you need each space to function for you, etc... After we have interviewed you, and done our research, we will create composite illustrations of what the interior of your home could look like. We can even begin with just one or two rooms. Our composite illustrations, (and complete files of all paint, furnishing and fixture, carpeting choices, etc.) give you real choices and allow you to confidently move forward. PROJECT:  Downsizing to a City Home

CHALLENGE: Moving from 6k sqft to approx. 2k sqft

Moving from a very large suburban home into a traditional city home, is a study in scale. Suddenly furniture, and artwork which had been central to feeling comfortable in their home, barely fit in the new house. They had already purchased a beautiful new sofa, which was just the right scale for their new living room - a perfect place to start - but seemed to stall-out in their efforts after that. While interviewing the couple, we took cues for color schemes from their favorite artwork, and listened to the lifestyle they wanted in their new space, etc.

SOLUTIONS: Below are composites with several compatible options for each area in the living room area each fitting the criteria we established, but still offering them choices.
